Colleen’s legislative record reflects a strong commitment to investing in needed infrastructure that will enhance the economic productivity of our region for many years to come.

FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY, ACCOUNTABILITY AND TAXES

Colleen has consistently supported real estate property tax relief and having strong financial controls in place so we know where and how our money is being spent. She also believes in holding government entities accountable. Specifically she sponsored legislation that requires Metro undergo performance audits every three years.

CONSTITUENT RESPONSIVENESS

Colleen believes in working together in a collaborative manner that will build consensus among parties that may have competing interests. She prides herself on her office being extremely responsive to constituent contacts, concerns and calls and she diligently pursues resolution of issues.

BUILDING A BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE

Colleen works to promote a strong sense of community by building on existing traditions and creating new ones that bring our friends and neighbors together. She works diligently to pass and support legislation that will foster a better quality of life for generations to come such as promoting green building in St. Louis County, protecting our children’s safety with the passage of a helmet requirement, letting voters decide if we want clean air in our restaurants and supporting more efficient use of our resources.
